When COVID-19 hit in 2020, our 12-year-old daughter had to put her piano lessons on pause due to the government’s movement restrictions. Her school classes were also constantly interrupted because of outbreaks. Determined to keep her learning, we found an amazing piano teacher who offered online lessons and connected with tutors from around the world for other subjects. To our delight, our daughter loved these online sessions so much that she continued them even after restrictions were lifted!
As parents, we were thrilled to say goodbye to endless driving around the city for various lessons. Inspired by our daughter’s experience, David, a former high school teacher and longtime educator, along with Lin, a former language instructor, decided to create an online school. Our mission was simple: to make learning fun and accessible for kids everywhere.
And so, Sparkle Mind Academy was born! Our goal was to turn education into an enjoyable adventure, no matter where a student is located. Today, we’re proud to be a leading online education platform and tutoring services center in South Surrey, combining expert instruction with interactive and engaging content.
