We never planned to start a tutoring academy or offer tutors in Victoria.
The idea grew from our own family’s experience. Watching our daughter learn online showed us that, with the right teacher, learning can be engaging, personal, and incredibly effective—whether it happens online or in person.
That experience led us to create Sparkle Mind Academy in 2017. Since then, we’ve helped students from elementary school through Grade 12 tackle challenging subjects, build confidence, and develop a more positive relationship with learning.
Based in the Greater Victoria area, we believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to education. Every student has unique strengths, challenges, and ways of learning. That’s why we tailor our teaching to the individual, not the other way around.
As a small, educator-led academy, we’re proud to offer a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and discovering what they’re capable of. We care about grades, but we care just as much about the confidence behind them.
